5th Annual Congress of Midwives of South Africa

The Mpumalanga Midwifery Discussion Group in association with The Society of Midwives of South Africa is proud to present the 5th Annual Congress of Midwives of South Africa. Emnotweni Arena Conference Centre, Government Boulevard, Riverside Park Ext 1 NELSPRUIT, Mpumalanga.

THE CONGRESS AIMS

The congress aims to improve the quality of maternal and child health care being provided by midwives and other health care providers.

• Empower midwives with knowledge and composite skills to render  efficient and effective maternal and child health care services.
• Provide a platform for the sharing of experiences and networking
• Facilitate updates and uniformity in midwifery practise in South Africa
• Strengthen partnerships with other relevant stakeholders
• Strengthen the recommendations as listed in the Saving Mothers and Saving Babies Report.
