2006-04-03 to 2006-04-07

CINDI Members have been working together for 10 years to address the needs of vulnerable children in the context of the HIV and AIDS epidemic in KwaZulu-Natal. We invite you to our 10 year anniversary conference in Pietermaritzburg, South Africa from the 3 - 7 April 2006. The Conference will provide an opportunity for practitioners, policy makers and other concerned people to gather together and share ten years' experience of good practice and enter into discussions about the needs of children in the coming decade.

PLACE: PIETERMARITZBURG, SOUTH AFRICA
THEME: LOOKING BACK LIVING FORWARD

The Conference will provide an opportunity for practitioners, policy makers and other concerned people to gather together and share ten years' experience of good practice and enter into discussions about the needs of children in the coming decade in the time of HIV and AIDS.

The Conference will be informed by international and national keynote speakers, and local young people and community based organizations that will work together six months before the Conference to deliberate and prepare themselves for meaningful participation in this event.

It is intended that the Conference will also provide a platform for advocacy and delegates will be given the opportunity to attend workshops and prepare submissions that will be forwarded to South African policy makers.
