Incidence of TB (PTB new Sm+) (per 100 000)

DefinitionNumber of cases of tuberculosis (pulmonary TB, new smear positive cases) reported to the Department of Health per 100 000 population (for the year).

Note that reporting rates in some areas are far from complete and this may influence the values quite significantly.
